Adding a 'missing' grade state to Gradebook in Google Classroom
In the last year, Google has added new features to Google Classroom, such as disabling submissions after a due date and excusing assignments, in order to give teachers even more flexibility when it comes to grading for assignments and classwork. Now, Google is improving support for missing assignments in Gradebook by giving teachers the ability to manually mark an assignment as ‘missing’ or ‘complete’ and automatically add a default draft score.
Add up to 500,000 members to spaces in Google Chat
Shortly after introducing announcements in Google Chat last year, Google increased the number of users you can add to a space from 8,000 to 50,000. To provide greater flexibility and inclusiveness for larger organizations, spaces can now have up to 500,000 members. Companies can create org-wide spaces to announce news and updates to their employees, helping ensure broader reachability and measurability of their communications.
