Bringing Transparency to Copilot Edits in Excel

Changes made with Copilot are now visible within the Show Changes pane, available now in Excel for the web. As agentic tools become more integrated into modern workflows, the need for clear visual representation of work done with AI has only grown. This update helps make AI-assisted edits more visible in Excel, supporting more transparent, informed collaboration and gives collaborators clearer insight into how workbook edits have been created and refined.

New Copilot entry points, smart suggestions, and keyboard-first design

Copilot is evolving to become a true thought partner inside Microsoft apps and services. The ability for Copilot to better connect to your content when using a keyboard and screen readers has been part of that evolution. Microsoft is now offering proactive suggestions right from the Copilot button. Simply hover over it or leverage keyboard shortcuts and start engaging. Before you know it, Copilot will be editing your content directly from conversation.

New investments to accelerate your migration to Microsoft 365

New investments are making it easier than ever to migrate your data to Microsoft 365 so you can take full advantage of these capabilities. The Slack to Teams Migration Tool is designed to migrate public and private channels from Slack to Teams, where your most critical conversations take place. And the new Migration Documentation Center contains consolidated documentation about all M365 migration scenarios.

Goodbye Together mode, hello simplified meeting layouts in Microsoft Teams

Beginning June 30th, the Together mode experience will no longer be available in Teams. This change helps simplify the meeting experience, reduce complexity behind the scenes, and focus Microsoft’s engineering investments on improvements that benefit every Teams meeting. The core need Together mode was designed to support, namely seeing the people who matter in a meeting, can now be fully met by the modern Gallery view, which can display up to 49 participants at once.
