A new way to debug formulas from Excel Labs

 

The latest experiment from Excel Labs is a new formula debugger, available within the Advanced Formula Environment (AFE). The debugging capabilities are activated using the new button on the Grid page in AFE. When the button is activated, the debugger will be visible in the same editing pane. Key features include live debugging, evaluation steps, range preview, and LAMBDA debugging.

Catch up on changes and comments from others

 

Microsoft has completed a design refresh of the Catch Up feature in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for the web. The Catch Up feature ensures that you can stay in sync with your collaborators. When you return to your collaborative files, it identifies the latest comment activity directed to you and a summary of recent changes. Clicking any item will take you directly to it so you can address the feedback, answer questions, or weigh in with an opinion.

Present more effectively and inclusively with video and closed captions in PowerPoint for the web

 

Make your next presentation more engaging by incorporating videos into it. In PowerPoint for the web, you can now upload and embed videos into your presentation. You can also insert closed captions and subtitles to go along with your videos. Adding videos with closed captions and/or subtitles to your presentation will allow you to connect with your audience in the format they enjoy, while also being inclusive of people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
