Generate customized stickers with Sticker Creator in Microsoft Designer
Sticker Creator is a new feature in Microsoft Designer that helps you bring fun, creative energy to your documents, invitations, posters, and presentations or for use in your favorite messaging app or social media posts. Sticker Creator uses the AI tool DALL-E to generate custom stickers based on a description you provide. The best part is that you don’t need any fancy design skills or experience to use the tool. Just enter what you want your sticker to look like and let the AI do the rest!
Mute and unmute yourself from Windows taskbar in Microsoft Teams
There are times during a Teams call when you may need to switch to a different screen on your device. In the new Teams experience on Windows, you can now check and see if you’re on mute right in the Windows taskbar. You can also mute and unmute yourself by clicking the microphone icon in the taskbar, making it even easier to control your input.
Pick any color with the new Eyedropper tool in OneNote
With the new Eyedropper tool in OneNote, you can easily choose a color from any image, shape, or inked notes found in the app. The tool also allows you to build your own personalized set of pens in the drawing toolbox. Say you want to create a personalized set of pens for a special project. Download an image of a color wheel, insert it into OneNote, and use the Eyedropper tool to customize a set of colors for your project.
Create and manage approval requests for a Word document
Using the Approvals app for Microsoft Teams, you can attach links to files when you create approval requests, but these approvals aren’t currently attached to the Word document itself. By bringing the Approval add-in to Word, you now have a direct entry point to create approval requests for a specific document you’re working on. This add-in allows you to see all approval requests that took place over time in a specific document. As an approver, you can also respond to the request right in the Word document, rather than needing to go to the app in Teams.
