Introducing new productivity apps People and File Search

Have you ever needed an easy way to learn about a person before meeting with them for the first time? Or struggled to find a file that you swear exists, but can’t remember its name or where it was shared? Microsoft created the People and File Search companions to provide a better solution to these obstacles and keep you focused on completing your tasks as quickly and effectively as possible. These mini apps work seamlessly with your existing Microsoft 365 tools, like Teams and OneDrive, complementing the actions you do every day.

Open shared Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files on iPhone and iPad devices without a Microsoft account

When sharing files with others, recipients have been able to open them in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for the web if they don’t have a Microsoft account. Microsoft is now extending this capability to its mobile apps. Recipients can open and view the contents of shared files in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on iPhone and iPad devices without signing in. To make edits or leave comments, they will still need to sign in with a Microsoft account.

Microsoft 365 subscribers can now experience Copilot in OneDrive

Recently, Microsoft added new Copilot value to its Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscriptions. Now, it is rolling out new Copilot features available to subscribers on the web version of OneDrive. Consumers can get more out of their OneDrive files utilizing the power of AI. You can get information to help you make decisions and get work done quickly, without opening a file.
