A Summer of Security and Transitions

Good day,

For some of us this summer is wet. For some it is hot -- too hot.  And for others, it is a time to relax, recharge, and recalibrate. For all of us, however, this summer still feels like a mix of hope and concern.

Hope, optimism, and economic activity are on the upswing as we continue our transition out of the COVID-19 pandemic. How we work is changing as we assess hybrid work environments and changing norms about work and life. Some of our pandemic-driven adaptations are beneficial; we have opportunities to improve and grow.

As the same time, we face uncertainty the "Delta Variant" and changing norms that require further adaptations. How we select, utilize, support, and secure our IT services is changing to meet new challenges and opportunities.

As the danger of COVID-19 subsides, we are reminded almost daily that other threats are on the rise. Cyber attacks are up as much as 400%. Some of these attacks get national coverage and have garnered the attention of policy makers.  We are seeing new attack strategies and tactics that require a reassessment of our security policies and procedures.

Updating our security footprints is only one of the transitions we face this summer.

The transition from G Suite to Google Workspace continues. And while most businesses are aware of the name change and features, many businesses are surprised to learn that keeping their current capabilities comes with price increases of 50% to 300%.

Do not panic. We bring hope ... and help. Take advantage of our resources, experience, and trusted guidance.
