Listen to your documents using Gemini in Google Docs
Google is introducing the ability to create audio versions of your documents using Gemini in Google Docs. Audio versions of your documents provide you with clear, natural-sounding voices that read your documents aloud. You also have the option to customize your audio experience with a variety of voices and playback speeds to match your personal preferences.
Arrow keys now move an object by a pixel distance in Google Slides
In the past, when you used the arrow keys to move objects in Google Slides, the object would move a great distance. To improve upon this experience, when you use the arrow keys to “nudge” an object, it will now move by 1 pixel. If you want to move the object a larger distance, use “Shift” + arrow key.
Catch up on unread messages within a conversation in Google Chat
You can currently use Gemini in Google Chat to summarize unread conversations in the Chat home view and to summarize files shared in conversations. To build upon this, Google is adding the ability to catch up on unread messages in a direct message, group conversation, or space.
Create and manage student groups using the Google Classroom API
Last year, Google announced a new feature that enables teachers to create groups of students in Google Classroom. Now, Google is announcing the launch of the Google Classroom API Student Groups endpoints which enable developers to manage student groups and group members on behalf of administrators and teachers.
