Issue #176 / 28-OCT-26

Take actions on your notebooks from Gemini Notebook directly in the Gemini app

Gemini Notebook is available as a Connected App in the Gemini app. This integration allows you to manage and query notebooks directly within your chats using natural language. You can type @Gemini Notebook in a chat to quickly create new notebooks, add sources to a notebook, save key notes, or retrieve information from existing notebooks.

Create box and whisker charts in Google Sheets

Google Sheets now natively supports box and whisker charts, a statistical chart type that shows how a dataset is distributed. Select a range of raw numeric values and Sheets calculates the minimum, first quartile, median, third quartile, maximum, mean, and outliers for you, with no helper formulas needed.

Extract audio tracks in Google Vids

Google Vids now allows creators to extract the audio track directly from video clips for more granular editing control. By separating audio from video with a single click, users can independently trim, move, or delete sound without disrupting visual timing. Extracted audio can also span across multiple scenes or play underneath different video tracks, making it easier to tailor voiceovers, align media, and remove background noise.

Google Vault now supports filtered exports for Gemini in Workspace

Google Vault now features eDiscovery filtered exports for Gemini in Workspace, enhancing AI compliance capabilities for organizations. Administrators can securely filter and export user interactions with Gemini across applications. This update ensures that AI-assisted conversations remain fully auditable while strictly adhering to Vault’s established privacy and security controls.
