Graduation and Commencement

Good day,

June always feels like a special month. In large part, June is a month of transitions. Spring to summer; school to summer break, work routine to summer work routine. And, for many, it is the end of one phase of their lives, high school or college, and the beginning of another.

For this transition, do you see it as a graduation or a commencement? Graduation reflects the accomplishment, the reaching of a goal, the completion of a journey. Commencement is a beginning, a new starting starting point for what comes next.

The real beauty of transitions, however, is that graduation and commencement or not mutually exclusive. They or not distinct. Endings and beginnings are related -- intertwined -- ways of framing events representing key moments of our journey.

How does this relate to technology?  It's an interesting question to consider.

If you share our view that technology should enable your business and empower your team for success, transitions within your business and those that impact your business will drive your technology strategy, choices, and usage.

As we examine our businesses with respect to our goals and objectives, we continue to work on running our businesses efficiently and effectively.

We have some great resources -- issues, ideas, and information -- to help you along your journey.

Thank you for being part of our community,

Allen Falcon, CEO
