New ways to customize how Copilot edits your workbooks

If you find yourself repeatedly typing the exact same formatting preferences into your Copilot prompts, Microsoft has introduced two new features for you. These customization options allow you to establish your styling rules once so Copilot can follow them automatically, eliminating repetitive instructions. Personalization is now generally available, and workbook rules are rolling out to general availability across Excel for Web, Windows, and Mac.

Copilot Cowork is now generally available

Following a successful preview, Copilot Cowork is now generally available as the fastest-growing feature in Frontier history. Adopted by over half of the Fortune 500 and global enterprises like Accenture, the tool boasts exceptionally high user satisfaction for compressing weeks of manual workflows into hours. Unlike traditional assistants that merely provide drafts, Cowork executes complex, multi-tool tasks with superior accuracy and security. This release also introduces model choice, plugin extensibility, and advanced cost management controls.

Planner Agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot is now rolling out to general availability, bringing intelligent, AI-powered work and task management to Microsoft 365 Copilot customers worldwide. Planner Agent delivers interactive task cards and actionable insights so users can easily prioritize tasks and focus on what matters. Via natural language prompts, users can also create and update tasks directly in Copilot.
