SharePoint Flexible Sections just got more predictable and easier to use

Flexible Sections give SharePoint page authors the freedom to build layouts without a strict column structure, resizing, moving, and overlapping web parts freely within a section. New usability improvements make flexible sections more predictable, easier to control, and faster to author, without giving up any of the flexibility that makes it useful in the first place.

Copilot in Excel: Bringing clarity to collaborative workbooks

The change history skill is now generally available in Copilot in Excel. It combines Excel's understanding of workbook history with Copilot's reasoning capabilities to enable users to understand and review changes. If something needs to be fixed, like a broken formula, Copilot can help repair it.

Make Viva Engage feel more like your organization: Custom Branding available now

Viva Engage now supports Custom Branding, allowing organizations to personalize the platform with their own logo, name, and theme colors across web, Teams, and mobile apps. Managed through a new Brand center in the Viva Engage admin center, this tenant-wide feature helps reinforce company culture without requiring premium licensing.

Claude Fable 5.1 is now joining the frontier models available in Copilot Cowork and Copilot Studio, giving customers more choice as they delegate more complex tasks to AI. Fable 5.1 is designed for long-running work, financial analysis, and front-end visual coding, with tighter plans up front and more concise summaries at the end.
