Announcing Microsoft 365 Copilot general availability and Microsoft 365 Chat
Microsoft Copilot is a digital companion for your whole life that will create a single Copilot user experience across Bing, Edge, Microsoft 365, and Windows. Microsoft is unveiling a new visual identity—the Copilot icon—and creating a consistent user experience that will start to roll out across all Copilots.
The new Outlook for Windows is generally available for personal accounts through the Microsoft Store on Windows 11 and the Sept. 26 Windows fall update. It’s a free app for Windows users designed to help you easily connect and coordinate your various email accounts and calendars in one place, with a sleek and modern interface. You can write clear, concise emails and get intelligent suggestions with built-in AI, seamlessly and securely attach important documents and photos to any note, and access OneDrive files and Office web apps without a subscription.
The Python Editor is a new addition to Excel Labs that allows you to write and edit Python formulas in Excel using a dedicated code editor with similar capabilities as those available in Python notebook environments. This is an experimental release to get early feedback. The Python Editor is designed to complement the Python in Excel experience with an editing surface optimized for more complex and longer Python code snippets.
Improved Experience for Real-Time Form & Quiz Responses
The Forms live presentation feature is a crowd favorite, receiving an abundance of positive feedback since its initial release. It effectively bridges the gap between form owners and their audience, significantly elevating engagement levels. Microsoft has recently updated the live presentation experience to be even more immersive and seamless when you present your forms or quizzes.
As collaboration expands across applications, teams, geographic borders, and time zones, staying organized and locating files has become increasingly challenging. To minimize frustration and save you time, Microsoft is introducing the People and Meetings views in OneDrive for Web. These new views let you effortlessly locate files based on the people you work with and your meetings.
