Office Scripts is now available for Office 365 Enterprise E1 and Office 365 F3 licenses

Office Scripts in Excel is now available for customers with Office 365 Enterprise E1 and Office 365 F3. Office Scripts is an automation platform in Excel that allows users with all levels of programming experience to automate their repetitive workflows. To get started, use the Action Recorder to record the actions you take in Excel. These actions are then translated into a script that you can run at any time. No programming experience required!

Add context to Microsoft Loop Tables and Boards with the detail view

There is a new view for Microsoft Loop Tables and Boards that can help you store and share contextual information about your data. Each row in your Loop Tables—and each card in your Loop Boards—can now be expanded to show additional information. Whether you want to track project requirement details or checklists for each item, the detail view in Microsoft Loop makes it easy.

Introducing New Capabilities for File Viewer in Microsoft 365

Microsoft is introducing performance, collaboration and interactivity upgrades to the file viewer in Microsoft 365. The file viewer in Microsoft 365 opens by default when you access non-Office files from OneDrive, SharePoint, or Teams. It’s especially handy for previewing files without having to download them and for viewing files without needing the specific app for that file type installed. Whether it's a PDF, a video, a CAD drawing, or a Photoshop file, you can easily open it with the file viewer and see a high-fidelity rendering of its contents.

Adoption and engagement improvements for apps in Microsoft Teams

Microsoft is working to improve app adoption in Teams by enhancing and adding new features targeted to better the experience of users, IT administrators, and developers. These new features can help developers reach more customers through Teams and grow their apps’ usage. All these enhancements will be available to new apps developed on Teams, including those leveraging new AI capabilities.
