Quick actions with Copilot now at your fingertips in OneNote
Producing effective notes, or reviewing and revising shared notes with others, can be an arduous and time-consuming task. That’s why Microsoft has introduced quick actions with Copilot directly on the OneNote canvas. With easy access to powerful Copilot functionality directly at your fingertips, rewriting parts of a shared note, summarizing content on the OneNote page, and extracting tasks all becomes more seamless and efficient.
Sheet Protection is now available on iPad! Excel users will be able to Pause or Resume Sheet Protection, Manage Sheet Protection, as well edit locked or unlocked ranges — just like on Excel Desktop or Excel for the Web. Sheet Protection can be activated from either the Sheet tab or the Ribbon. Click on the Sheet tab with the lock icon and then select the “Protection…” option in the floating UI.
New autonomous agents scale your team like never before
Already, 60 percent of the Fortune 500 are using Microsoft 365 Copilot to accelerate business results and empower their teams. Microsoft is announcing new agentic capabilities that will accelerate gains and bring AI-first business process to every organization. First, the ability to create autonomous agents with Copilot Studio will be in public preview next month. Second, Microsoft is introducing ten new autonomous agents in Dynamics 365 to build capacity for every sales, service, finance and supply chain team.
Queues app for Microsoft Teams now generally available
Microsoft has announced the general availability of the Queues app for Teams. The app is designed to enhance call queue management for individuals in your organization that engage with customers, but do not necessarily work in a traditional call center environment. IT departments can effectively manage technical support calls, troubleshoot issues, and provide seamless support to employees. Sales, customer service, and admin teams can leverage the collaborative features of Teams while handling customer calls in the Queues app. Your team can work together seamlessly to resolve customer issues without having to leave Teams.
