App-powered tasks are now available in public preview within the Planner app in Microsoft Teams. This feature allows organizations to integrate tasks with Teams apps, providing more control over users’ experiences when they open a task. Instead of the standard task fields, you can use this feature to show a workflow-specific set of fields or step-by-step guidance to walk your employees through a workflow from beginning to end. Your employees can get all the info they need to complete their work, without ever having to leave Planner in Teams.
