Provide more tailored task experiences with app-powered tasks

App-powered tasks are now available in public preview within the Planner app in Microsoft Teams. This feature allows organizations to integrate tasks with Teams apps, providing more control over users’ experiences when they open a task. Instead of the standard task fields, you can use this feature to show a workflow-specific set of fields or step-by-step guidance to walk your employees through a workflow from beginning to end. Your employees can get all the info they need to complete their work, without ever having to leave Planner in Teams.

Visualize data with Copilot in Word

Microsoft has enhanced Copilot's data visualization capabilities in Word, allowing users to easily convert text into well-organized tables with customizable formatting. The tool enables additional styling, such as font adjustments and color coding, for clearer data presentation. With simple prompts, users can create tables, adjust text alignment, and refine data formatting, streamlining the document creation process.

Control volume ratio setting when using language interpretation in Teams meetings

Language interpretation in Microsoft Teams facilitates clear and efficient communication, enabling more inclusive meetings with a multilingual audience. This feature allows professional interpreters to translate meeting speaker’s words into another language in real time, without disrupting their flow of delivery. Now, Microsoft has introduced a new feature that allows users to adjust the volume ratio between meeting audio and the language interpretation feed in multilingual meetings, allowing for customized sound levels.
